Josiah: We just finished swimming, my garden is doing fine, and we have been playing football. I ordered chickens (bantams - Golden Lace Cochin Bantams), and I have 40 Rhode Island Red chicks. I've done some algebra, Greek, Latin, and I'm almost finished with one of 4 Spanish Bible workbooks.

Anders: I'm working harder on math to review and catch up. I did some Greek and Latin, but I need to do more. I ordered 10 bantam chicks, and they should be here next Wednesday.

The Girl: I have only 4 more sentences in Greek and I'll be in book #5!! I have finished 1 1/2 math workbooks that MOM gave me (I'm waiting on Branch to catch up so we can be on the same pages in math). I have a friend here playing Monopoly with me on this rainy day. I'm going next week with MOM, Teresa, Chan & Michele to Tallahassee to eat in an Indian restaurant for MOM and Teresa's birthday! My rabbit had babies, but they all died, which is okay because she was bred with her own brother. We thought he was a girl, but now they have been separated. I'm going to breed her again this month with one of Uncle Tim's bucks.

Stennes: I've done math and Rod & Staff; I need to write my persuasive essay this next week. My garden is doing well; the potatoes are larger than golf balls. I ordered Buff Orpington bantams, which are very small.

Branch: I only have 6 more sentences in Greek and I'll be in book #5!! I'm almost finished with spelling, too. I'm doing 2 lessons of math each day to catch up. Violin is going well. I have 4 new pigeons, so I now have 7 total. I planted Seminole Pumpkins in my garden.

Mean Ol' Mama: This is a short post, but we wanted to let you know that we're still here and we still love and miss you all. We're trying to get back in a groove now that the competitions are finished and I am pretty well finished at the College until June. We can't wait to see you all when we come up on vacation! We haven't finished writing this month's persuasive essays, but we'll work on them this next week. We've been reading together, and Mean Ol' Mama has been trying not to push push push quite as much. I'll get 'em next week, though...heh heh heh....

Okay, we're going to do a general post for both families. Teresa and Levi are here with us right now, and all the boys are desperately working on their bird journals which must be mailed tomorrow. We have been busy, busy, busy, but not in the books except for reading and bird books (of course).

The Poultry Judging competition for 4H is on Wednesday; bird competition up in north Georgia is next Friday. Between all of this, we're praying that God miraculously changes all of this craziness and busy life into a well-rounded education.

Keep us in your prayers and let us know if you can figure out how to get all the book work done without actually doing it. Hmmmmm........
