Levi: I have not posted for the past few weeks. I think that I have done a pretty good amount of Greek and Latin, but Mama does not agree. My garden is coming along. I was able to plow the one acre field that my Dad's boss lets me use. That's where I'm planning on planting the three sisters: corn, pole beans and winter squash. Stennes and I got some sugar cane and have already planted it. We hope to make cane syrup in the fall. We took Buckshot and Beef to the cattle auction this week. It's kind of sad not to see them in the field which will soon be home to Caleb's goats.
Teresa: It has been an hectic week for us. Between birding, cowing, goating, chickening, banding and cooking...whew! Notice that I did not put the word "schooling" in the previous sentence. Praise the Lord for the warmer weather! It has made a difference in my energy level. I believe I have been stuck to the heater for the past few months. Spring is in the air!
