Stennes: I did some of Mounce this week, in review. I also did more Latin and Greek. I practised my flat-picking for Foggy Mountain Breakdown with Levi and I had class, too. I planted seed potatoes this week. Hopefully this cold year won't hurt them. Tomorrow I'm going to work at Mr. Jerry's U-Pick farm, planting more potatoes.
Josiah: I worked more on Algebra this week. I was lazy and didn't practice cello because my teacher was out of town. I'm going to plant my potatoes when it warms up some. I'm learning to crochet.
Branch: I didn't practice violin, either, but I will this coming week. I like my new spelling book. I did more Greek than Latin this week.
The Girl: I did two spelling lessons this week. I did only 1 lesson of Greek. I'm trying to finish my little piano book. I learned how to crochet a little bit.
Anders: I'm learning Foggy Mountain Breakdown in my mandolin class. I've read 6 of Little House books. My hamsters are doing well. I went to the Chinese restaurant last Saturday with Chan for my 11th birthday. I've done some math, cursive, copy book, Latin, and Greek this week.
MOM: A not-too-busy week this time, which was nice. I do have a lot of work at the College, and paperwork always takes so much time, it seems. We're trying, trying, trying. Yesterday we worked on a few character issues, and hopefully that chapter is closed forever. Wouldn't it be lovely if we would all "live each for the other, and all for God"? Trying, trying, trying. We're always glad to hear from y'all up there.
