Well, we survived the hour-long "blizzard"! It was fun to see snow in the South.

Branch: I re-started Latin with Mommy this week. I did 2 full lessons in Greek. We're getting ready to plant potatoes.

Anders: I did some Latin and Greek this past week. I'm working on my Reader books more. Today I'm going to Tallahassee for mandolin lessons. We butchered both of our hogs Saturday. Saturday was also my 11th birthday.

Josiah: I read a lot of my history book, I did my copy book and cursive book, some Latin and Greek. Mommy bought us new spelling books and I did one lesson. The hog butchering was fun. I also butchered 3 chickens. We had a bit of snow on Friday.

The Girl: I did the same Greek and Latin that Branch did. I can't wait to use my new spelling book. I'm trying to crochet now. I have about 20 Reader books in Spanish to finish up my Reader Box!

Stennes: We did some Latin together and separately, too. I haven't done any of Mounce the past few weeks, but I finished the other Greek book assignment that we do with Levi. I'm going to work on Mounce this week. I moved all my good kale and cabbage plants into a corner of my garden and tilled up the rest because Daddy's going to try and buy seed potatoes today. I'm almost finished with my 8th grade Reader Box, just 2 books left to go. I put a foot pedal throttle on my lawnmower so it has more power and it's easier to use.

ChubChub is asleep on the couch again! He's growing very quickly.

This week we have a few things going on: lessons in Tallahassee today and the homeschool meeting on Friday. Kind of slow, but that's very very okay with Mean Ol' Mama. We're trying to be more disciplined (can we be???) in school, but gardens are ready to go in the ground, MOM has College stuff to do, we have things to do before Lowell and Clarice's visit next month, etc., etc. We're going to do our best, though!
